10 Jobs to Likely Change Because of ChatGPT5

Copywriter

For writers, ChatGPT is the ultimate tool. Not only can it help with brainstorming, idea generation, and research, it can assist with the creation of article outlines, create headlines, and boil longer pieces of copy down to their essential elements.

However, although ChatGPT can also quickly create articles, blog posts, taglines, and summaries on almost every subject imaginable, we are not yet at the stage where the tool is a replacement for copywriters or content writers. The reason for this is that while ChatGPT can produce an article on demand, – it can even write poetry upon request – the tone and style adopted by ChatGPT currently still lacks the creativity and flair needed by most brands to produce engaging and relatable content that attracts and retains their target audiences.

It’s also important to note that if a brand is trying to rank on search engines through the publication of copy that has been produced by an AI tool, it is likely to be penalized by Google which considers such content to be spam.

While not ready to be used solely for copywriting, the current technology is ideal as a draft-creator, which copywriters can work with to get the information they need. This can then be worked on by writing professionals to create truly compelling copy.

Paralegal and Legal Assistant

Assistant roles in the legal profession require individuals with considerable reading and summarizing skills to sift through extensive documentation as they conduct research on behalf of clients and more senior legal professionals. Due to the routine nature of some of these activities, elements of these roles are susceptible to being automated with ChatGPT.

However, rather than paralegal and legal assistants being replaced by this technology, it’s more likely that ChatGPT will boost speed and productivity when it comes to legal administration. Human judgment will still be essential to contextualizing content, making sure the client’s needs are met, and ensuring that no errors escape unnoticed.

Teacher

While it’s unlikely ChatGPT will be replacing classroom teachers anytime soon, there are numerous ways teaching staff can harness the power of ChatGPT to support their teaching and more effectively engage their classes.

As an extra resource – and one that is more concise than a search engine – ChatGPT can aid classroom discussions by providing the factual building blocks needed for students to get a quick grasp on a subject

ChatGPT can save teachers time by providing swift feedback on a student’s spelling and grammar, leaving teacher’s able to focus on the bigger issues to hand

The technology is advanced enough to provide activities and assessments for students. Need a quick quiz on the Second World War? Ask ChatGPT
